This print shows two Sumo wrestlers. Today, baseball players, soccer players and other pro athletes are popular. In the Edo period, Sumo was extremely popular, and Sumo tournaments were one of the highlights of the calendar. Wrestlers are not always shown in the ring, sometimes, as here, we see them in their every day clothes
