The artworks displayed on JAODB are not for sale

Notes (1st edition)Extremely rare print, first published around late 1930's to early 1940's, from a postcard series. I have no information regarding the title of each scene, the format (postcard or koban), publisher, etc., but I can clearly see the artist name and the series title written on the series folder. Hasui made a trip to Korea in 1939, so these scenes most likely date to shortly after that time. If I am not mistaken the series was issued by the famous department store Mitsukoshi (??), as the name text and seal look very similar to Mitsukoshi's.
