Original KAWASE HASUE Japanese WOODBLOCK Print MATOBA (Beach) AT TAKEHARA

Offered for your consideration and purchase this beautiful original and never-framed Japanese WOOD BLOCK PRINT of MATOBA BEACH AT TAKEHARA by KAWASE HASUI (1883-1957). This is one of several recently acquired and concurrently offered original woodblock prints by this and other well-known Japanese artists and which we believe were all purchased by the former owner in Japan during the 1950's. Artist signature, title, and publisher marks are as shown in the close-up photos and an image or two of the reverse side is also shown for your examination.

Approximate DIMENSIONS: Image area is 9-5/8" x 14-3/8" and the overall size including borders is 10-1/2" x 15-1/2".
We are selling a large estate of Japanese prints originally acquired in the 1950s. Please see our other listings. Domestic shipping is free; we will ship internationally at actual cost to buyer. Print has a crease in the bottom left corner and measures 10 1/2 by 15 1/4 inches.
