AsanoTakeji (1900 – 1999), attributed as “Kawaramachi Akegata Kosame,” (Kawara Street Morning During Light Rain), January, 1934, woodblock, from Twelve Famous Places of Kyoto, unknownnumber of copies, seals and writing lower left, including Asanos’ self-carved seal, 10x 14, unframed, good condition with a bit of toning and a few creases. Striking sosaku hanga image of what was at the time "modern" Kyoto with what I believe to be St. Francis Xavier Church in the background. ????????
