The woodblock print HOZUGAWA-KUDARI ( go down the Hozu River ) from the series KYORAKU SANJUDAI ( 30 Kyoto Scenes ) by TOKURIKI Tomikichiro ( 1902 - 2000 ). Sealed Tomi. Published by Uchida Bijutsu Shoshi in Showa 11 ( 1936 ). Shikishi Picture Card : 27cm x 24cm ( 10 3/4" x 9 1/2" ) 40g

This is an original Japanese woodblock print by Tomikichiro Tokuriki (1902-2000). The print is in very good condition. Fine impression, color, registration and bleedthrough. No foxing, toning, folds or creases. The print is not setdown, or trimmed. Print size is 9.75" x 11". This print is from the series "The Ten Views of Japan".

This auction is for a Japanese woodblock print by the recently deceased TOMIKICHIRO TOKURIKI, from the series "The Ten Views of Japan." They were printed by Uchida Woodblock Printer, Kyoto, Japan in the mid-to-late 1940's. This print is Number 3, titled The Hozu-gawa Rapids at Kyoto in Summer. It is 10 x 11.25", is in excellent condition, with excellent color, free of fading, and has never been framed. It is professionally attached to heavy paper backing with a fold over mat that can be easily removed without damage to the print.
