Condition: Very fine, apart from a small loss in the middle right margin - professionally infilled; not affecting the image.
Notes: Titled and signed in pencil by the artist. Brush signed and sealed by the artist.

In his 1939 book, Yoshida states that 8 blocks and 30 impressions were used to produce this design, and notes that "many impressions of one color" were needed to achieve the gradations.

ONE OF THE SCARCEST, DAI-OBAN FORMAT PRINTS. SELDOM SEEN IN FRESH CONDITION.
