Narazaki describes this print: 'A man is dressed in a full-length coat and holds an umbrella as he walks across fallen snow. The vermillion-lacquered corridor of the Tenno temple stands somewhat apart, the Kondo hall superimposed over the five-storied pagoda. Both hall and pagoda tower against the cold snowy sky. The three layers of bokashi are skillfully executed and are effective in contributing to the mood of the work'. |
