this auction is for a First Day Cover issued May 5, 1949 in Japan. the stamp is in honor of the first Childrens Day. the Scott catalogue stamp number is 455. inside there are two pieces of paper explaining about the stamps. these papers have discolored the inside and edges of the envelope. maybe there is a way to treat the envelope to remove this, i do not know. please look at the scans.
