Yanagi Bridge from a series of Lantern Shaped Prints by Kawase Hasui. Rare original Japanese woodblock print circa 1930s. Fine color, condiition and impression. Print has never been framed. 7.7 x 5.1 inches. Strong texture and ink bleedthough on soft washi. Red Hasui seal on right side of image. Compare to same print on page 152 of Volume one "Kawase Hasui The Complete Woodblock Prints".

Yanagi Bridge in Snow from the a series of Lantern Shaped prints by Kawase Hasui. Original Japanese woodblock print circa 1930s. Fine condition. Print has not been framed and retains original colors. Red Hasui seal in lower right of image. Print measures 7.7 x 5.2 inches. Good texture and ink bleedthrough on fine wahsi. Nice blind printed contour lines. Compare to HI-1 in Vol. 1 page 152 of the Hotei catalog.
