Triptych: Bijin in a Snow Covered Temple Garden

Artist: Ogata Gekko
Format: Oban triptych: each sheet 14.5" x 9.75" approx

Subject: A delightful design of two bijin under umbellas in a snowy temple garden.

Date: c.1890's

Condition: Full size with margins at left and top. Paper a little toned. Some creases, stains, marks and flaws. Generally fair state.

Colour: Very good

Impression: Fine with hand-applied gofun for the snowflakes.
