Monday, 25 June 2007 Original woodblock print with brown jizuri by Hiroshi Yoshida, "Fuji- First Light of the Sun". This is considered the artist's master piece. Yoshida printed it in such a way that when viewed from a certain angle, there seem to be morning sunbeams coming up from behind Mt. Fuji. It is from my private collection. As a former museum curator, I have taken utmost care to preserve the pristine quality of this lovely piece. Rich colors and fine impression. Excellent bleed thru. Image is clean and fresh with very, very mild toning along outer edge of paper (not within viewing area). Guarunteed original. Paper size: 29.5" x 23" Image size: 23" x 28" |
