| Notes (this edition) These notes were written by the original owner/seller/auctioner of the item and may be inaccurate.: | Kazutoshi Sugiura Iris No 97 Gold Leaf Print Kazutoshi Sugiura (1938-Present) silkscreen print on gold leaf. Studied at Kyoto College of Fine Arts, after graduating in 1963, Sugiura spent four years studying Classical Japanese painting and the art of gold leaf restoration at the Kyoto National Museum of Antiquities. This print is Iris No 97 and is edition 89 of 95. Pencil signed on the bottom right and dated 1992. The print size is 11.25" by 15.75 in excellent condition framed with a silk mat and a gold leaf frame which is 19" by 24.25". On the back there is a label from Kabutoya Galleries. |
