Description "Yamato Fuzoku Sono no Yakei" (Japanese Customs and Manners; Evening Scenery of Garden) People are relaxing in a beautiful flower garden under the full moon. A stream runs through the background and the scene is illuminated by the full moon above, and by the toro lanterns in the garden. The woman in the leftmost panel is holding a biwa, one of the major Japanese classical musical instruments. The lady in the middle has a flute. Impression excellent … strong wood grains visible on the background
Colors good
Condition very good … light toning, slightly soiled, the top and the bottom edges slightly frayed, not backed. Left Sheet: 3 ink specks and a thin spot on the lower background. Middle Sheet: a thin spot on the top middle, the girl's face thin and slightly discolored.
