Notes (1st edition) | It would appear that this scene has been issued multiple times, the first being in 1944 (April 10). Perhaps because to poor sales due to the war, or perhaps because the blocks were destroyed in the war, it would appear that Okuyama reissued the print in January of 1954. This new edition contains dating and the artist's signature within the scene, so partial or complete recarving of the blocks is suggested. Copies of this "recarved" edition with pencil dating to December 1956 have been confirmed, suggesting Okuyama reprinted the scene again, or (more likely) pencil-dated the 1954 edition prints as they were sold.
