Documentation: Kawase Hasui: The Complete Woodblock Prints, Hotei 2003, page 582, illustration 571 Comment on Design: Beautiful image by Hasui (a master of landscape); A serene winter scene, his most sought after type of design, made even more desirable by the large format. This print is about twice the size of a regular oban size print.

Condition: Fine, no flaws, uncirculated print
Impression: Fine, solid key lines, tight registration, and good surface texture
Color: Fine, deep saturated color with bleed through to verso
Documentation: Kawase Hasui: The Complete Woodblock Prints, Hotei 2003, page 582, illustration 571
Notes: Unique double oban sized print. The majority of Hasui's prints are half the size of this design

Signature: Artist’s seal at bottom left of design

Condition: Very good, the print has some faint toning and mild mat burn (hardly noticeable), there is also two faint tape stains on the reverse that do not show through to the front (please see me detailed pictures).
