Colors excellent - very good
Condition very good … light toning, several foxing and on the margins, ink specks on the sky. Ink stains on the margins, a hole (1/8 inch long) on the lower left.
Description "Maruyama Yo-zakura". Viewing the blooming cherry trees at Maruyama park, Kyoto in the evening.

Sakura Night Scene at Hashizawa by Takeji Asano. Original Japanese woodblock print dated May 5th Showa 9 (1934). Fine condition. Print measures 10.1 x 14.3 inches. Strong texture and ink bleedthrough on fine washi. Date and red Asano seal in left margin.
