Notes (1st edition)I have seen three dates written in the left margin of this print: May 28, 1931, 25 November, 1933, and 1934. Perhaps Asano hand-dated the prints in batches as they were sold over several years. It's also possible that he published two editions, perhaps as a different series. Artist Takeji Asano 1900-1999 Title: Early Summer at the Incline Description "Incline, Early Summer". Signature "Takeji ga-to" on the bottom left. "Takeji suri" on the left margin. Seal "Asano" on the left margin. Dated 1931. Medium/Technique Woodblock print.
