Blossoms from a series of Lantern Shaped Prints by Kawase Hasui. Rare original Japanese woodblock print circa 1930s. Fine color, condiition and impression. Print has never been framed. Small pin holes in lower left corner. 7.7 x 5.1 inches. Strong texture and ink bleedthough on soft washi. Nice blind printed contour lines. Red Hasui seal on left side of image. Compare to same print on page 152 of Volume one "Kawase Hasui The Complete Woodblock Prints".
