My parents purchased these prints in the mid 1970s in South East England. The have been carefully stored away. Condition: Excellent, one small pin size hole in the top right Colors: Bright & Dynamic subject matter Measures 15”h x 6 1/2"w Artist: Ito Sozan (1884-?) Title: “Two Crows in the Snow” Date: Early 1920s Publisher: Watanabe Shozaburo Image Size: 6 ¼” x 14 5/8” Impression: Fine. Nice “bokashi”; nicely detailed carving Condition: Excellent. Strong colors, one small pin size hole in the top right Comments: A colorful “kacho-e” image, not often seen. Sozan designed prints for Watanabe from 1919 until 1926, with Watanabe’s 1936 catalogue containing 28 prints by Sozan. |
