Up for auction is a beautiful Japanese Wood Cut Print of a very dynamic set if two black birds or crows by Ito Sozan. My parents purchased these prints in the mid 1970s in South East England. The have been carefully stored away.
Condition: Excellent, one small pin size hole in the top right Colors: Bright & Dynamic subject matter Measures 15”h x 6 1/2"w

Impression: Fine. Nice “bokashi”; nicely detailed carving
Condition: Excellent. Strong colors, one small pin size hole in the top right
Comments: A colorful “kacho-e” image, not often seen. Sozan designed prints for Watanabe from 1919 until 1926, with Watanabe’s 1936 catalogue containing 28 prints by Sozan.
