CONDITION: A small rubbed area to centre right, otherwise fine impression, colour and condition. ESTIMATED VALUE:	Wednesday, 3 May 2006 Series 'Setsu gekka': Bijin Portrait #1 Artist: Chikanobu Format: Oban tate-e : 14.5" x 9.75" approx Subject: A courtesan aboard a pleasure craft, empties a sake cup into the Sumidagawa. Moonlight playing on the water below her. Widely considered to be the masterpiece of this fine bijin set Setsu gekka Publisher: Ariyama Sadajiro Date: 1899 Condition: Full size with large margins.
