1st Edition Thirty-two Aspects of Women: #12 Heavy

Artist: Yoshitoshi
Format: Oban tate-e : 14.75" x 10" approx

Subject: Fusoku Sanjuniso - The 32 Aspects of Women. A young teahouse waitress carrying a portable table laden with food.

Publisher: Tsunashima Kamekichi

Date: 4.10.1888

Condition: Completely full size with margins. Light vertical crease. Minor stains, marks and flaws. Generally fine state.

Colour: Fine colours

Impression: Superb of the 1st edition with use of lacquer and burnishing. Three colour title cartouche.

Subject: Omota-so - Literally meaning 'Looking weighed down' - a waitress from the Tempo era (1830-1844).

Date: October 4th, 1888

Condition: Full size with large margins. Minor marks and flaws. Generally fine state.

Colour: Very fine

Impression: Very fine of 1st edition with 3-colour title cartouche.
