You are bidding on an original Japanese woodblock print "Geisha" signed by the famous Taisho/Showa woodblock print master Tekisui. The artist’s signature and his chop mark are at the upper right corner of the print. The size of the print is about 11 3/4 inch x 8 1/2 inches. This woodblock print is not attached to any backing paper or cardboard and strong ink bleeding can be seen through the back of the original Japanese Mulberry paper. Except for two very light horizontal creases at 1/3 and 2/3 of the print; and one vertical waviness at the left side of the print due to the print’s age, which are not very visible, this woodblock print is in excellent condition.
