Near the Minato Bridge, Choshi

Date: original, first edition released 1932, published by Watanabe with "C" seal used between 1929 and 1942.

Size: oban, approx. 10.5" x 15.5"

Condition: VG-, minor soils, small tear and pinched area in upper left corner margin
Impression: VG, solid key lines, superb registration, nice texture
Color: VG, strong color with excellent bleed through.
Rarely seen Koitsu design boats docked along a canal at twilight with the Minato Bridge in the distance.

Japanese School. 20th Century. Two color woodblock prints: Forest, signed in image lower right. Together with Canal through a Town, signed in image and stamped lower right. Forest: 9 3/4 x 14 3/4 inches. Canal: 10 1/4 x 15 1/4 inches. (Forest glued to back mat along top edge. Canal laid down on back paper mat.)
