Monday, 7 November 2005 Kiso River, 1931 This Print, Kiso River, 1931- A castle rising above the treetops in this lovely view of Kiso. Two figures in a small sailboat in the water below. Beautiful rich color, the trees beginning to show the colors of autumn. Great Hasui design. Signed- Kawase Hasui with yellow or red artist’s seal as shown Titled- In Japanese in margin as shown. Image size- 10 3/4” x 7 3/4” Condition- In excellent condition overall as shown with no holes, tears, damage, repairs or other issues to report. Beautiful rich color, not faded. Excellent detail. A lovely print for the discerning collector. No condition issues. |
