Impression Very good.
Colors Very good … shomen-zuri patterns on her hair, orange color partially oxidized.
Condition Very good … Light toning, slightly soiled, three needle size worm holes on the middle left background, two slight vertical folds usual for kuchi-e, not backed.
Description Frontispiece illustration from a popular literary magazine similar to Bungei Kurabu, which was aimed at largely female readers in Meiji - Taisho era. Here, a bijin in kimono is seeing off her lover late at night.
