Description of Artwork: This is a Kawase Hasui print; 10"x15 1/4". The title I believe to be 'Toyohama,Sanshu'. 1936 Early Edition, Oban, Wantanabe Publishers seal 'D'. This was print was a gift to my grandmother from a life long friend of her's that was a japanese-american that was sent away to the internment camps during the war. This print and other collectibles were given as tokens of appriciation from her friends family for looking after some of their affairs at that time. I'm waiting for a response from my sister, the family historian, to tell us the name of that family. All I can remember was her first name, Suki I believe. This print was past on to me through some of my father's estate. It is for sale and the condition is very good. There is a small pin hole in the upper left corner. You can see some bleed through on the back of it and there is a MADE IN JAPAN stamp on the lower right corner on the back.
