Shin Hanga: Japanese Girls Month by Month: # 2

Artist: Chiyuki Onouma
Format: Large Oban tate-e: 16.75" x 11.25"

Subject: A beautiful girl lit by a 1950's standard lamp, a potted Orchid beside her. A rarely seen Shin Hanga series. Produced under the supervision of Paul Jacoulet's printer/carver Maeda.

Publisher: Sobunsha (Tokyo)

Date: 1958 (Showa 33)

Condition: Full size with large margins. Minor creases in margins. Virtually perfect state.

Colour: Pristine colors.

Impression: Superb first edition impression with deep blind printing on de-luxe quality paper. The hair ornament and ring printed in heavy silver leaf.
