Format: Large Oban tate-e: 16.75" x 11.25"

Subject: A young bijin holding an open green umbrella stands under a flowering Cherry tree as she waves with her right hand. A rarely seen Shin Hanga series. Produced under the supervision of Paul Jacoulet's printer/carver Maeda.

Publisher: Sobunsha (Tokyo)

Date: 1958 (Showa 33)

Condition: Full size with large margins. A small nick it top right margin. Minor creases in margins. Generally fine state.

Colour: Pristine colors.

Impression: Superb first edition impression with extensive gauffrage.
