Fuji - from Furu-u before W.W.II Artist Takeji Asano 1900-199 Description From the series, "Fuji Hachi Dai" (Eight Views of Mt. Fuji). Mt. Fuji is seen from the beach of Furu-u in Numazu city in Shizuoka prefecture. Signature "Takeji gato" on the bottom left. "Takeji suri" on the left margin. Seal Artist's seal. Dated 1943. Medium/Technique Woodblock print. Impression Very good � Carved and printed by the artist. Colors Excellent. Condition Excellent - Very good � Slight discoloration along the top edge. A stain on the lower margin. Format Oban yoko-e Width Item 14.5 inches = 36.8 cm Height Item 10.2 inches = 25.8 cm
