Subject: #25 A Kyoto waitress in the Meiji period (168-1912) extinguishing a candle in a red and white paper lantern. From the series, Thirty-two Aspects of Customs and Manners of Women, which we shall be auctioning in its entirety over the next few weeks.

Date: 1888

Condition: Very slightly trimmed. Laid down on album backing, as issued. Some ffsetting at left and base. Minor soils, marks and flaws. Generally very good state.

Colour: Fine

Impression: Fine 1st edition with 3-color title cartouche
