SERIES: Chiyoda no O-Oku. (Ladies of the Inner Halls of the Palace).
DESCRIPTION: Stationery fair in the garden of the Palace, a lady praying for the Buddha on the right.
DATE: 1896.
PUBLISHER: Fukuda Hatsujiro.
CONDITION: Vertical centre fold to centre sheet, reinforced verso, minor marks and flaws principally to left sheet, left sheet trimmed, otherwise good impression, colour and condition.

Condition excellent - very good … the middle and the right sheets pasted together, slightly soiled, album backing. Left Sheet: a brown spot on the middle left, slight soil on the middle lower area.
Description "Chiyoda no Oh-oku" (The Ladies of Chiyoda Palace) "Shaka-moude". The birthday of Buddha is celebrated on April 8th. The small Buddha statue pointing at the heaven is placed on a decorated platform.
