Description "Dressing Yao Girls". A very colorful print in harmonious shades of red, blue and yellowish colors. Lü Min applied an interesting effect: she used red color to the shadow parts of the bare trees. This produces an impression as if the whole scene was illuminated by a strange light. Also the tonality of the clouds with a fine graduation from red to blue contributes to make this print so lively although the drawing is simple.
Note In 1999 this print "Dressing Yao Girls" won the second grade award at "Kunming Art Exhibition" for celebrating the 50th anniversary of the PRC (People's Republic of China).
