Provenance Obtained directly from Tokyo publisher Nishinomiya Yosaku's remaining final inventory-- (learn more). Series na Publisher Nishinomiya Yosaku (Tokyo publisher, active 1872-1950's; marginally until 1996.) Seal, Carver/Printer na Image Size 9 5/8 x 14 1/2 Impression Very Fine. Skillful, soft "bokashi" shading throughout; light "gauffrage" to castle, cherry blossoms, and rocks. (Printed with only partial use of black "key-lines.") Condition Very Good++. Strong colors. Full margins. (Several surface scratches; light wear; light age-toning.) Reference/Illus na Comments Not often seen--a colorful springtime cherry blossom image.
