These notes were written by the original owner/seller/auctioner of the item and may be inaccurate.: 		This lovely woodblock print, "Nikko Yumoto Onsen", Showa 12 is by Kawase Hasui (1883- 1957). It is in excellent condition showing a lakeside lodge with warm lantern light glowing through rice-paper windows reflecting on a lake. Rising behind the buildings are mist-shrouded hillsides silhouetted against the setting sun. Hasui's signature stamp is on the right side of the print and the Watanabe publisher's stamp (6mm) is in the lower right corner. The back shows good bleed-through. It measures 9 1/2 inches by 14 1/4 inches (24.1 x 36.2 cm) not including the margins.

Offered for your consideration is this BEAUTIFUL Kawase Hashi (1883-1957) woodblock. It measures 10 1/4" x 15 1/4". The overall quality and condition is excellent!
