This is a genuine original sosaku hanga Japanese woodblock print by Shiro Kasamatsu, titled "Cormorant", dated 1956, sealed in the image, original brush signature in the image, edition 129/200. This is a self- carved/self-printed print.
The print is in fine condition. Excellent color, registration and good bleedthrough. No foxing, toning, folds or creases. The print is not trimmed or setdown. This print is rarely seen offered for sale.
