Comments - Lovely triptych depicting upper-class women enjoying a spring day in a garden. On a bridge at right, two girls lean over the railing to watch the koi swimming below them. In the center, a mother carries a small child on her back, the little girl reaching excitedly for the wisteria blossoms hanging overhead. At left, a beauty kneels at the water's edge, tossing rice cakes to the fish bobbing at the surface of the gently rippling water. A beautiful landscape setting, with lovely detail and lively color. A very attractive subject.
