Subject: Bijin helping Prince Genji to dress, after a visit to his lover, they are standing on an engawa under the dark evening sky.

Date: c. 1850

Condition: Slightly trimmed. Minor soils, creases, marks and flaws. Generally very good state.

Colour: Fine colors.

Impression: Fine impressions with gauffrage and mica.
