Saursawa Pond by Gihachiro Okuyama. Genuine woodblock print dated Showa 24 (1949). Fine condition. Oban size measures 10.6 x 15.8 inches. Title and date in left margin. Koike printer's and Masuda carver's seal in right margin. Beautiful colors and nice ink bleedthrough of soft washi.
FROM THE ESTATE OF 96 YEAR OLD LADY WHO LIVED IN JAPAN COMES THIS OLD JAPANESE WOODBLOCK PRINT OF A LAKE SCENE AT NIGHT. 15.75 INCHES BY 10.5 INCHES. IN GOOD CONDITION.

Sold with Harada/Gotou Koitsu print, so maybe Harada/Gotou is circa early 1950s!
This is the first edition.
