Original woodblock print by Ohno Bakufu (1888-1976), depicting two egrets in flight. Image size is ~10 3/4 x 15 1/2 inches and overall paper size is 11 1/2 x 16 1/2 inches. Print is in very clean and unfaded condition with no tears, stains, or foxing. Light paste residue on top margin corners and backside top margin. Print is unframed.

Japanese Woodblock Print by Bakufu Ohno

On auction today is a woodblock print titled, "Herons".
Signed with the Artist's Signature along with the Publisher Seal which is Shinagawa, Kyoto Hanga-In. Format size is oban, 16 ½ by 11 ½ inches including the margins. There is some toning to the margins but the print is flawless. Lovely olive-grey background brings out the brilliance of the herons. Excellent bleed-through.
Birds in Flight by Bakufu Ohno. Genuine woodblock print. Fine condition. Oban size measures 11.0 x 15.7 inches. Good ink bleedthrough.

Publisher: Kyoto Hanga-In Shinagawa-ban.
It has some minor rice paper age discoloration . No folds or rips.
