Akaurawan no Yuushou (Evening Glow at Akaurawan) from the series Noto Shinnanao Hakkei (Eight Scenes of Noto Shinnanao) by Gihachiro Okuyama. Genuine woodblock print dated Showa 18 (1943). Fine condition, color and impression. 10.0 x 15.2 inches. Date, artist's characters and red Okuyama seal in lower left of image. Title and series in upper right of image.
Akaurawan no Yuushou (Evening Glow at Akaurawan) from the series Noto Shinnanao Hakkei (Eight Scenes of Noto Shinnanao) by Gihachiro Okuyama. Genuine woodblock print dated Showa 18 (1943). Very good condition. A few light spots in top margin. Fine color and impression. 10.0 x 15.2 inches. Date, artist's characters and red Okuyama seal in lower left of image. Title and series in upper right of image. Pencil signed in bottom margin. Nice texture and ink bleedthrough. Drying hole in top margin.
