| Notes (this edition) These notes were written by the original owner/seller/auctioner of the item and may be inaccurate.: | Tuesday, 29 September 2009 Original Signed 1956 Japanese Woodblock Shuzo Ikeda Famous Listed Artist This fascinating woodblock point was by a very famous Japanese master print maker and artist, name Shuzo Ikeda. It is a 1956 monotype, signed with crayon, and was originally entitled #51. It is a wonderful Expressionist study of a cat like young girl...truly fascinating. This woodblock is in the original condition as it was acquired, being laid down, matted and framed. It appears to be in very good condition...and a fine, collectible art woodblock print. This piece is housed within a contemporary black wood frame, measuring 18 1/4" x 24 3/4". |

They appear "soft" and not with a hard edge like trimmed ones. The size is 46,8cm x 32,1 cm. In the bottom Margin is only two numbers looking like: -56 (41) It is signed with silver pen??, SHU.
