Original Japanese woodblock print on a fibrous white paper of a girl with a bird in her hand by Kaoru Kawano (1916-1965). Signed in pencil at the lower left of the image ?Kaoru Kawano? and sealed just to the left with a red rectangular seal. DIMENSIONS: Image 14 7/8 x 10 1/8 inches; sheet size 16 ? x 11 ? inches. CONDITION: Very good; ever so slightly toned or light struck. Relic mounting tape across the top back edge. You are bidding on a modern Japanese woodblock print made by the famous woodblock artist Kawano. The print size is 15 inch x 10 1/4 inches. The artist’s signature is at the lower right corner of the woodblock print. The four borders (margins) are intact. Colors are in layers and bleed through the Japanese Washi paper. There are no defects, stains, or foxing. The woodblock is in excellent condition.
