This is Calm Morning On Cape Ajiro, Izu Province by Kasamatsu Shiro, signed lower right, Shiro, red seal, Shiro. Spring of the 8th year of Showa, 1933. Edition of 100. Measures 10 1/4 by 15 1/4, pristine condition, never matted or framed.

Original Japanese woodblock print by the shin hanga school artist Shiro Kasamatsu. Subject: Calm morning at Ajiro Promontory, Izu. Date: 1933. Publisher: Print bears the Watanabe "C" publisher seal indicating an early impression. Condition: Very good color & impression.. Slight overall toning (a shade more so at top margin). Two small tape remants towards top verso. Oban design measures 10" x 15.5".
