This is a vintage Japanese Woodblock Print from a local estate. It is nicely matted and framed in the japanese style in a black lacquer frame. The print has a signature on the lower right corner two red squares with japanese characters inside. It is a lovely print of a man and woman in houseboat with large pine tree in the foreground and a full moon. It measures about 20" by 14" - the print itself measures about 14.5" by 9.5". Condition excellent - very good … 2 inch long scratch on the right margin, slightly wavy on the margins.
SHODA KOHO VERTICAL OBAN.IMAGE SIZE APRX. 14.5"X 9.5". SEALED IN KANJI IN THE IMAGE. COPYRIGHT PUBLISHER NISHINOMIYA YOSAKU IN THE RIGHT MARGIN VERY GOOD CONDITION, NICE COLOR GRADATION NO TAPE AND NOT LAID DOWN.
