This sale is for a beautiful original woodblock print entitled "Asahi Peak from Mt. Hakuba" by famed Japanese artist Kawase Hasui (1883-1957). It was last for sale over 25 years ago at a gallery in Boston (closed since the early 90's - owned by a member of my family) but has been in storage ever since. The size of this print is oban. It is in excellent condition with nice colors. I am not sure of the exact age of this one but I think it must be lifetime due to the 6mm "j" seal. I am not an expert at figuring out the dates on these things so if my information is incorrect please tell me. |
Conditions: Fine impression, colour and conditions. |
