Japanese woodblock print, "West Gate of Suigen, Korea," by Kawase Hasui (1883-1957). This print has the 6 mm seal. Measures 15 1/4"x 10 1/4" with margins. Prime condition.

This item is a framed Japanese woodblock print that measures 15.5" by 10.5"inches. It is by noted artist Kawase Hasui. It was published by Watabe and bears the small Watabe seal mark. This print was framed in 1955 according to a date stamped on the back. Unfortunately, the framer pasted the print to a backing board. This print also has some light browning due to sunlight exposure. The browning is only noticeable when the matt is removed. This print has no foxing marks or tears. The colors are still bright. The margins are still present.

This Item is a Japanese Wood block print by Noted artist Kawase Hasui, it is signed and dated (Showa 15) It bears the small Watabe seal mark, the colors are bright, the margins are intact, and is in excellent shape, no tears folds, or wrinkles.
