Artist Hasui Kawase 1883-1957 Signature Hasui Seal sui Dated 1937 Period Shin hanga Publisher Watanabe Rating 1 = excellent Description "Nishi Izu, Kisho no Fuji". Mt. Fuji is seen from Kisho in Izu. Kisho is on the opposite side of Setta Pass across Suruga Bay. Many Shin-hanga artists such as Kasamatsu Shiro, Tsuchiya Koitsu, Asano Takeji and Tokuriki Tomikichiro depicted Mt. Fuji from this location which was known for the excellent view of the mountain. Format Dai-Oban Width 12.3 inches = 31.2 cm Height 16.8 inches = 42.6 cm

Description "Nishi Izu, Kisho no Fuji". Mt. Fuji is seen from Kisho in Izu. Kisho is on the opposite side of Setta Pass across Suruga Bay.
