This print is authentic, not restrike or reproduction. I guarantee it. This print was created by Ohara Koson aka Shoson or Hoson (1877-1945) the great artist of shin-hanga in kacho-e (birds and flowers prints). Here is one of his great prints “Basket with various flowers”. Was published and printed by Watanabe in 1932 (I’m offering the later edition from 1945), print bears a signature and sealed Shoson in the image. Bears also Watanabe “I” 6mm seal. Oban size 15 1/4" by 10 " with full margins. Print reproduced on p.202 in “Crows, cranes & camellias (The natural world of Ohara Koson)”. Fine impression, excellent color , bleedthrough and registration - very good condition. The print is not backed or mounted.
