This is an original sosaku hanga Japanese Woodblock print by Kaoru Kawano. The print is sealed and pencil signed in the image by the artist.
The print is in excellent condition. Fine impression, excellent color and registration. Extensive use of mica in the figure. No foxing, toning, folds or creases. The print is not trimmed or setdown. Paper size is 11" x 16.75".		 Beautiful original woodblock print by well known contemporary Japanese artist Kaoru Kawano (1916-1965). Image size is 15 x 9 inches. This piece is in great condition and is professionally matted and framed to a size of 17 x 11 1/4 inches. Has nice use of silver ink the hooded veil. The print has been freed of all tape which was used to keep it in place in the frame, though there is tape residue at top edge of backside.
