Guaranteed original Japanese woodblock print by the shin hanga artist Shotei (Also known as Hiroaki). Ca. 1910. Subject: "Rain Storm". Print measures: 6.5" x 15". Excellent color & impression. Print is in excellent overall condition with two small toning spots in left margin and one small spot just to the right of that margin which intrudes slightly upon design. See scan.

Impression excellent - very good … (printed before W.W.II)
Colors very good … dark colored wash to simulate aged look
Condition very good … a tear (1/2 inch long) on the upper right corner repaired.
Description People are hurrying to get covers in the sudden thunder shower at a teahouse in Takaido.
Note "Made in Japan" stamped on verso.
